How to Check if Samsung Phone is locked or unlocked?

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to check if your phone is unlocked?
There are two ways to determine if your phone is locked or unlocked?

Follow along, and you’ll easily be able to tell if your phone is locked. So if you just bought a phone online or somebody, you don’t know we’ll show you how.

The first method is to go into the settings app.
Tap on connections and then mobile networks. Then click on the network operators and press on the search now.

What happens next is the phone will show the network it is on, for example, Chatr, or it will show a bunch of other networks such as freedom, Kodo, virgin, to name a few, which means the phone is unlocked and will work with any of those networks.

Method one is complete; however, it doesn’t always work. So we’ll show you a different way to determine if your phone is locked or not.

How to unlock a phone without a sim card?

  • Turn off your phone.
  • Remove the sim card from the phone
  • Next, use a sim card from a different phone, pop it in the phone and turn it back on.

The simplest way to check if the phone is a lock is by making a call with the new sim card. If it works, it is unlocked, and you are good to go. Otherwise, you will see a message indicating it’s locked. At which point, you contact the service provider and ask them to unlock it.

So those are the two ways. If you enjoyed this tutorial, be sure to share it with others.
